Hi, I’m Ainsley, a degree qualified and AHPRA & AACMA registered acupuncturist in the Gympie region. Growing up with a holistic mother, I have been passionate about natural health since a young age, but like many in the profession before me, my love and reverence for traditional medicine came through experiencing my own health struggles. At age 11 I was diagnosed with scoliosis and Scheuermann's disease of the spine, and throughout teenagehood and into my adult life I have experienced acne, digestive discomfort, ovarian cysts, adenomyosis and suspected endometriosis. It wasn’t until age 25 that I truly discovered traditional Chinese medicine when I had an acupuncture appointment for my back pain. After my first session I felt immense relief and felt as though I walked out floating on a cloud - pain and tension free. I then enrolled in a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Acupuncture & Chinese medicine and have not looked back. 

It is my mission in life to help people understand their bodies and natural cycles, and to advocate for themselves and their health. 

I have a special interest in all things women’s and reproductive health, including menstrual health, period pain, irregular cycles, endometriosis, PCOS, vaginal health, male and female fertility, preconception, pregnancy and postpartum care, as well as skin conditions, acne, digestive health, pain, injury, tension, stress and anxiety, mental health, general wellbeing and cosmetic acupuncture.
